Why Controlling Your Behavior Doesn't Work and what to do Instead...

Updated: Apr 12, 2021

The more we try to control our behavior, the less in-control we feel. There is, believe it or not, a fairly simple explanation for why this is so.

In this video, I talk about the attachment to being in control and how this is driving a lot of psychological energy into a part of ourselves that resents control.

Try this out and see how it works. The ability to develop acceptance is something of an art form. However, it's real selling point is very clear: it works!

Once we realize that trying to control things (behavior, emotions, outcomes, other people) doesn't work, we open ourselves up to alternatives. These alternatives are very powerful.

Hope this one helps and talk with you again soon,
